SOmetimes photographing a brown sandwich like this will be THE worst nightmare for a food photographer. if you don't use your light, props and background in a good way, it can turn very dull.  

THat is why, for this opportunity, we try two different backgrounds that the client can use for the social, like two different images of the same sandwich. The first, we wanted a more CONTRASTING colour and the other a more analogous colour. Both TYPES of colour RANGES compliment the sandwich and make it pop to your eyes. 

This image was shot in my Studio in Adelaide, and i did the food styling.

The image was TAKEN with my macro lens and artificial lighting.
